Maggie Herber (she/her) is a Shakespeare super fan with an affinity for tinned fish and Elliott Smith. 

 

Maggie grew up in Kansas City, Missouri where she started her Shakespeare training at the age of seven, giving a riveting performance as Paulina in "A Winters Tale". Many critics said it was a shame there wasn't a Tony Awards category that year for "seven year old girls playing fifty year old women"  because Maggie Herber would have been a shoe in! From then on she’s been enraptured by the Bard and his body of work and dreams of putting her own spin on all of his pieces, from the classics to the lesser-known nuggets. In 2026, Maggie graduated from Shenandoah University with a BFA in acting. While in college Maggie participated in many main stage and student productions, was on the improv comedy team, and served as president of the school's Shakespeare troupe, getting the chance to both act and direct. Since graduating college, Maggie has moved to Chicago, where she is now based and looks forward to whatever work lies ahead! Maggie is currently represented by ATB Talent and is thrilled to be working with such wonderful agents.
